Jeremiah brings a non-traditional, multi-discipline background to agriculture. He obtained a BA in Chemistry (Hiram College), a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology (University of Michigan) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Lineberger Cancer Center (UNC Chapel Hill). Jeremiah then joined a startup biotech company (Intrexon Corporation) and led the development of a high throughput technology platform to design, build and test large multi-trait DNA constructs using lab automation and custom software. After Intrexon’s IPO, Jeremiah joined his family’s business as CEO of Buckeye Ag Testing, where he managed a contract research farm conducting small plot research. In 2019, he founded aerialPLOT to build automated and scalable solutions for better agriculture R&D.
