Kathy joined IRHA in April 2019 after 15 years with Community Action Program, Inc. of Western Indiana (CAPWI). Her past work experience was in tobacco control primarily. She also directed a school-based youth leadership/mentoring program and served as the Communications Director for CAPWI. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in Health Promotion. She is a certified Questions, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a renowned suicide prevention facilitator. She is a member of the West Central Indiana – Area Health Education Center advisory board. She enjoys the outdoors, photography, travel, cooking, and pottery.
Kathy is the Program Director for the Healthy Minds, Healthy Lives program, and a Program Coordinator for the Indiana Rural Community Collaboratives. Kathy also serves on several committees within IRHA. She has two grown sons and resides in Montgomery County.
