Change is inevitable and inescapable. Nowhere is this more clearly seen and felt in our daily lives than in the continuous advancements to technology and methods of communication.

 As an example, changes to the transportation industry have evolved as ride-sharing apps have replaced taxi services. This cultural shift has resulted in the loss of jobs and carries the negative connotations and feelings people commonly associate with that loss. But consider – whether UBER or  other ride-sharing platform, the future of the taxi industry changed the moment someone had the idea to use advancements in technology to improve the quality of human life.

Rather than focusing on the negative and potential loss, we should focus on opportunities for growth and improvements change can bring.  Reacting to change is necessary for survival. Embracing change opens up  new possibilities and ideas. Initiating change positions us for success. This session will provide ideas for small business owners to become proactive instead of reactive.
